Guess Who's Coming to Dinner - Casting Auditions

Possum Point Players will be holding auditions for their 2020 winter production of Guess Who's Coming to Dinner written by Todd Kreidler based on the screenplay by William Rose directed by Les Ferguson

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. The multi-racial cast consists of five women and three men.

The following roles are available:

Matilda Banks (50s), African-American
Tillie has worked as a housekeeper for the Drayton family for many years. She is a force in the family.

Hilary St. George (40-50s), Caucasian.
Hillary is the associate director of the Drayton Gallery and works for Christina Drayton.

Christina Drayton (55+) Caucasian.
Mother of Joanna, wife of Matt. Owns the Drayton Gallery

Matt Drayton (55+) Caucasian.
Publisher of San Francisco Guardian newspaper. Father of Joanna.

Joanna Drayton (25+) Caucasian. Daughter of Matt and Christina. Engaged to Dr. John Prentice.

Dr. John Prentice (30s), African-American.
Young, renowned medical research physician planning to marry Joanna.

John Prentice, Sr. (60s), African-American.
Dr. Prentice's father.

Mary Prentice (50-60s), African-American.
Dr. Prentice's mother.

Monsignor Ryan (60+), Caucasian.
Longtime family friend of the Draytons.
