PPP presents A NIGHT AT THE OSCARS...
LET IT GO
The evening's entertainment features Academy Award Winning songs through the years in the fun tradition of the "backstage show-within-a-show" musical. LET IT GO was conceived by Donna de Kuyper and the show's musical director, Doug Yetter. The event and stage design is by Kenney Workman.
The story: An affectionately bickering 17 time-nominated songwriting team (played by Yetter and de Kupyer) are once again up for the coveted Best Original Song in a Motion Picture prize. Can our celebrity hosts, "the Smoother Brothers" (Jim Hartzell and Don Megee) keep the couple's backstage shenanigans from derailing the 91st Academy Awards show?
LET IT GO features some of our most talented locals performing everything from Sinatra to Streisand to Sondheim also includes, among others, the Oscar-winning songs My Heart Will Go On, Moon River, Mona Lisa, Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head, Fame, White Christmas, and of course a Disney medley!
The cast includes: Claudius Bowden, Dawn Conaway, Kyra Cutsail, Max Dick, Alonzo Dixon,
Cheryl Graves, Val Harmon, John Hulse, Dulcena Kemmerlin, Lorraine Steinhoff, and John Zinzi.
Tickets are $80 Individulal / $150 couple
